As we approach the start of construction, the Omnitrans sbX team will be proactive in its outreach with residents ahead of construction activities. This will include:

• Neighborhood Meetings
• Neighborhood Association and Service Based Presentations
• One-on-One Meetings with Residents from Community Liaisons for the Project
• Construction Activity Notices
• Weekly Construction Alerts

Timing of Construction Activities

As of October 2011, a construction schedule is being developed and anticipated to be available in mid to late November 2011.

This schedule will outline where and when construction will take place in 90-day increments. As soon as the schedule becomes available, the sbX public outreach team will go into the neighborhoods to inform residents of what construction activities will take place and the duration.

Important to note is that work will be done in 2000-feet segments. The duration will vary, but is not to exceed six months in any one 2000-foot segment along the corridor.
