Public Information Meeting

Omnitrans' Public Information Meeting for the sbX E Street Corridor BRT Project on April 27, 2009 at the Norman Feldheym Public Library in San Bernardino was a success!  Over 40 community members including residents and business owners from along the corridor participated in the meeting. San Bernardino Mayor Patrick J. Morris provided welcoming remarks, and sbX Project Team members presented an overview of the project. Community members asked questions and provided comments about the project in a large group discussion and one-on-one with Project Team members during the open house portion of the event.

sbX Featured at the Loma Linda Business Expo 2009

As part of ongoing outreach efforts, the Omnitrans sbX Team joined the Loma Linda community at Business Expo 2009 on April 15.  Hosted by the Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce, the event was an opportunity for the business community and residents to connect and learn about the range of resources available in the community. 

Omnitrans, a significant sponsor of the event, provided the latest information related to the sbX E Street Corridor BRT Project at its booth.  sbX Team members talked one-on-one with event visitors about the project, answering questions and collecting comments as part of its public outreach efforts.  Visitors signed-up to win a one-month Omnitrans bus pass and to be included on the project mailing list.
